| Bio: | This journal was originally created for the close online friends I have known for many years. New people are welcome to drop in, however. As of now, most of my journal will be friends-locked. I will add you back if I think we have something in common. I also like it if people keep active journals so I don't go for months wondering if you're still alive. Snottiness is not taken lightly, so if you are snotty to me in either words or actions, outright or passive-aggressively, then I will not be sticking around.
What I'm Passionate About: Animals and animal issues. I've made it my own personal mission to make my life more animal-friendly, and I do this by trying to keep to a vegetarian diet, not wearing fur or leather, boycotting companies that test on animals, supporting animal rescues, and sending the occasional email to a senator here and there. I love domestic rats. My darling Rain recently passed away, and I miss her dearly. I am against BSL (Breed Specific Legislation), in other words, the banning of certain breeds of dogs. If such a ban were to have been in effect in my area, I would have never been able to share my life with my Doberman Pinscher - my childhood friend and the best dog ever.
